Federal and states government have been urged to consider Fulani herders in the distribution of Palliatives to cushioned the hardship caused by the removal of Fuel Subsidy.
The Chairman , Kwara state Chapter of Miyyati Allah ,Alhaji Bello Abubakar made the call while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin.
He said the Fulani herders are the most affected people during this period.
Alhaji Abubakar explained that majority of herders had no bank account where they can access fund when in need.
He said when ever they take their cow to the market for sale the transportation fare will take larger part of the money.
The Fulani leader expressed worry over the high cost of food Items in the market.
He appealed to government to bring out food Items from the nation’s reserve and sell at subsidized rate to the common man.
Alhaji Abubakar also urged government to assist them with vaccines to prevent the death of their cattle’s from strange diseases.
He warned criminal elements among the Fulani’s to give peace a chance.
