Olusegun Ajayi Charles popularly known as MC Gold, was on Monday killed by some suspected cultists in Lokoja, Kogi State.
A graduate of the management faculty and department of Banking & Finance, Kogi State University Anyigba was a talented MC who has hosted and anchored a lot of shows back then as an undergraduate in his school where he graduated from in 2017 was murdered by cultist at the early hours of Monday morning around 12am on the 17th of February 2020.
The deceased was said by a reliable source close to him, “that he alongside his friend Sunrich Aiyedogbon and two others were attacked at their residence in 200 units Lokoja Kogi State by some unknown armed men about 15 of them.
His body was cut and butchered with Cutlass and axe as one of his close friend Aiyedogbon Sunrich sustained some degree of injuries he and alongside the other two guys.
It was gathered that after the incidence, the case was reported to the Police and investigation is currently going on.
MC Gold who was an indigen of Kogi state was buried on Tuesday at Lokongoma Cemetery in Lokoja he’s survived by mother, father, brother, sister and friends.
