Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is still in London, according to Naija News.
This was confirmed in a statement issued by Tinubu’s media aide, Tunde Rahman, and signed by the APC stalwart’s media office.
The statement comes in response to Saturday’s viral reports that the former Lagos State governor had left London, where he had been for about two months, and returned to Nigeria.
However, Rahman stated in the statement that, while he understands that many people are eager to welcome Tinubu back to Nigeria, reports that he has returned to the country are false. He went on to say that when Tinubu returns to Nigeria, which is expected soon, the information will be made public.
“His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has not returned.” The report about his return is completely false. I know many people are looking forward to his return. He intended to do so as soon as possible. Everyone will know when he does.” Rahman told reporters on Saturday.
