The Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Abubakar Gegu, has launched a free medical treatment program for 800 citizens of the state.

The outreach tagged Tinubu/Ododo Medical outreach is in partnership with Diamond Foundation for the needy, is sponsored by Engr. Bashiru Gegu, Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources.

The program kicked off in Gegu Beki, Kogi LGA, at the weekend, will cover four locations, with 200 sick persons treated per location.

The location are in Ganaja Community of Ajaokuta, Ankpa and Kabba Bunu LGA of Kogi State, said his essence for service is complementing the good works of the two outstanding leaders.

The program, which includes medical consultations, medications, vaccinations, surgeries, and specialist care, aims to support President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Gov. Alhaji Ahmed Ododo’s efforts in providing good leadership.

Engr. Gegu described the initiative as his support for the leaders, stating that they have proven that leadership is about the people’s welfare.

The free medical services include eye care tests, maternal and child health care, and health education.

According to Engr. Gegu, the program will increase access to medical care, reduce mortality rates, and promote a healthier community.

He urged Nigerians, especially Kogi State residents, to support the APC-led administration, predicting President Tinubu and Gov. Ododo’s re-election in 2027 is sacrosanct.

He further lauded former Gov Yahaya Bello for creating an enabling environment for APC in the State and for his solid support for president Tinubu and Gov Ododo, creating the enabling environment for growth and prosperity in the State.
