The Nigerian Police Force has pledged to apprehend any woman seen having sex with dogs in the nation and documenting it on social media.
Muyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, stated this in a brief statement on Saturday in response to a viral video of a woman engaging in bestiality.
Don’t miss the offer below
According to Adejobi, the police will pursue the woman in the viral video and subject her to the full force of the law.
In order to serve as a deterrence, he requested Nigerians to provide the police with any valuable information on how to catch the lady and anyone participating in the act.
The publishing of bestial-natured films on the internet will not be tolerated, according to a police official.
He said, “I really want us to take necessary action on these ladies that are involved in unnatural offences (including bestiality) and post same online.
“We want to urge you to give us any useful information on how to get these ladies. We need to fish them out, please. Thanks.”
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the Nigerian Criminal Code Act and the Penal Code Act make sleeping with an animal a crime punishable by up to 14 years in jail.
Meanwhile, Uriel Oputa, a former Big Brother housemate who is now a renowned chef, has turned to social media to comment on the rising trend of bestiality.
This comes following viral tales of dogs sleeping with women.
In response to the news, the reality star denounced such a lifestyle on her Instagram page on Friday, while also expressing concern over the current generation’s drive to gain quick money.
She also addressed the spiritual ramifications of such heinous behavior, imploring the people to do better.
