Magajia1 of Uke kingdom in Nassarawa state and a Frontline contender of All progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial ticket for last year November 16 governorship election in kogi, Mrs Blessing Aisha Ekele felicitated with Governor Yahaya Bello over his victory at the state governorship tribunal, sitting in Abuja, describing the tribunal’s verdict as divined and a victory for democracy in the country.
The APC woman leader in Olamaboro local government in the state and who had been a good team player in kogi politics disclosed this in Lokoja on Sunday while speaking to journalists, stressing that governor Bello had laid a lot of golden eggs, right from his first term of his administration, that with times, will hatch to put the state on the pedestal of greatness.
“Look, governor Yahaya Bello has given his all: time, energy , experience, connections and his life, to pull this state out of the woods. Do not forget ,the state started with a wobbling foundation, that it only takes a leader in the mould of governor Yahaya Bello to fix it in order to stand firmly for the benefit of all”, she said.
She stated that the last Saturday tribunal victory was not a fluke , but a confirmation of voters’ expression at the polls last year, calling on the leaders of the rival party at the tribunal, the People Democratic party(PDP) members to sheath their swords and file behind governor Bello to make this state viable economically and a Haven for all.
” Everything in life has its time .Bello’s emergence on the political turf in kogi is Act of Providence, there is nothing any one can do about it now. I enjoin the opposition leaders to allow voice of reason to prevail and join hands with this divined leader (Bello) to move the state to the next level of development”, she expressed.
Magajia1 therefore commended the state deputy governor , Edward Onoja, the APC leaders, both at the state and the national level, members of the party and Kogites for their support which made the victory of Governor Bello inevitable at the governorship tribunal.
