The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the governorship election in Kano State inconclusive.
The declaration was made by the state collation officer, Prof. Bello Shehu after collation of all the 44 local governments in the state.
According to Bello, the number of cancelled votes was more than the margin of difference between the two leading candidates.
Peoples’s Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Yusuf Abba scored 1,014,353 votes while his All Progressives Congress, APC counterpart and incumbent Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje polled 987,819 votes.
