Some suspected political thugs on Monday night burnt down the Secreatariat of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) located in Lokoja, Kogi State.
It was reliably gathered that the SDP office was attack in the afternoon by the hoodlums but only for them to returned at night and burnt it down.
SDP secretariat was earlier attacked on Sunday where windows and doors of the Secretariat were shattered while banners, posters and other campaign materials at the Secretariat were destroyed and replaced with the posters of the candidate of APC, governor Yahaya Bello.
The party had earlier alleged that there is ongoing plan by governor Yahaya Bello to attack the convoy of the SDP candidate, Barr Natasha Akpoti adding that the unfolding event has affirmed the allegation.
