It has become glaringly obvious that Honourable Salman’s representation of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency is deeply skewed and selectively biased. While he claims to serve all, his actions paint a very different picture — one of neglect, favoritism, and political opportunism.

Kabba, the headquarters and largest district in the constituency, has been treated with undeserved neglect and disrespect.During the recent Kabba Cultural Day, instead of engaging warmly with the people, bringing his colleagues, and demonstrating tangible support, Honourable Salman rushed in and left within two minutes without donating a kobo or fraternizing with the Kabba community.

This is not just disappointing — it is a betrayal. Contrast that with the generosity of prominent personalities like Prince Olatunji, who donated 50 million Naira, and Karimi, who donated 20 million Naira and promised to add 30 million more before the end of the year.

The sad truth is that this isn’t an isolated incident. Honourable Salman’s pattern of preferential treatment is clear. He is from Ijumu, and that district has continually enjoyed his full attention, generous donations, and completed infrastructure projects.

Meanwhile, Kabba’s longstanding plea for attention goes ignored — roads remain in disrepair, projects are left incomplete, and key opportunities are withheld from the constituency’s headquarters.

We were told Honourable Salman was sentimental about Kabba people. That narrative is unraveling. The reality is that he has turned Kabba into a political afterthought while using empty words and staged appearances to keep up appearances.

This calculated game of sentiments is painfully transparent. He leverages Kabba’s loyalty for political gain but refuses to invest in its development and welfare.Even beyond Kabba, his uneven distribution of projects and resources raises questions about fairness and inclusivity in his leadership.

If local development is concentrated in his backyard while the largest district in the constituency languishes, how genuine is his claim to represent all?The people of Kabba deserve respect, meaningful engagement, and real development, not rushed visits devoid of substance or heartfelt support.

Honourable Salman must be called to account for his indifferent and divisive approach that threatens the unity and progress of our constituency. It is time for Kabba people to reject this political game and demand equitable representation and justice within their own community.

Lastly, to those who wish to respond:Please ensure you state exactly when he arrived and when he left the programme. Also, clearly disclose how much he donated.Anything else that deviates from these facts should better not be a rejoinder.
