A group, political think tank loyal to the incumbent Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has expressed profound satisfaction and appreciation for the unrelenting efforts and support demonstrated by All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant, Alhaji Musa Muhammed Maikaya, also known as Ciroman Toto.

The group leader, Alhaji Abdulkareem Moyi, highlighted Maikaya’s role in promoting and supporting the Nasarawa State government through his philanthropic gestures.

The commendation followed Alhaji Muhammed Maikaya’s successful mobilization of over 1,000 supporters who warmly welcomed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his visit to Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, on Wednesday.

The political think tank which boasts of membership across three districts of Nasarawa State emphasized that Maikaya’s efforts added vibrant colors and enthusiasm to the President’s presence in Lafia, enhancing the overall reception and public engagement.

The group noted that such grassroots mobilization and philanthropic support are vital in consolidating the government’s developmental agenda and fostering unity among the people of Nasarawa State.

They encouraged continued collaboration between government officials and influential leaders like Alhaji Maikaya to sustain progress and stability in the state.

The group praised Maikaya’s participation in welcoming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Nasarawa State on Wednesday, describing the event as colorful and encouraging. They urged other gubernatorial aspirants and stakeholders to emulate Maikaya’s style of leadership.

According to Moyi, the Maikaya Development Foundation, led by its CEO, Alhaji Musa Muhammed Maikaya, has played a significant role in community development.

He noted that the foundation has provided scholarship grants to indigenous students, provide motorised boreholes to address water scarcity potable in communities, and empowered youths and women in the area.

Our correspondent reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited Nasarawa State on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, for a one-day working visit to commission key infrastructure projects initiated by Governor Abdullahi Sule.

The visit included the inauguration of the N16 billion Lafia flyover and underpass, the dualised Shemdan Road, the new Nasarawa State Secretariat Complex, and other legacy projects.

Tinubu praised Governor Sule for prudent management of resources, noting that the flyover was completed within a year without external borrowing.

During the visit, Tinubu also distributed security vehicles, empowered youths with electric tricycles, and handed out agricultural equipment to farmers.

The President was accompanied by several state governors, the APC National Chairman, and other dignitaries. The visit was marked by heavy security, widespread public enthusiasm, and significant restrictions on vehicular movement in Lafia.
