
The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sen. Sunday Karimi, has urged members and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State to refrain from actions and comments capable of disrupting the ongoing reconciliation and peace-building efforts within the party.
Sen. Karimi stated that the APC in Kogi State has recorded significant progress in resolving past differences, stressing that the current atmosphere of unity and understanding must be protected through constructive engagement and mutual respect among members.
He described the APC in Kogi State as one united family, noting that Kogi West remains a stronghold of the ruling party.
He commended party leaders and supporters for their commitment to strengthening the APC and consolidating on its achievements across the state.
The lawmaker also appreciated individuals who have contributed to the growth and stability of the party, saying their dedication demonstrates genuine commitment to the success of the APC.
“I want to use this opportunity to appeal to all our citizens and party members not to engage in any action or statement that could distract from the healing process,” Karimi said.
“We are committed to working together to make the APC stronger and more inclusive. I urge everyone to uphold the spirit of peace and unity. I will not associate with remarks that seek to sow division, and I encourage us all to focus on building a party that works for everyone.”
Karimi further called on party faithful to put aside their differences and remain united in pursuit of the APC’s goals ahead of future elections.
