Federal Polytechnic Idah has appointed Usman Uba Ibrahim as Bursar while Engr Fajilade Temitope is now Director, Works and Services.

This follows the approval of their appointment by the 13th Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Idah chaired by His Excellency Rt. Hon. Adetope Ademiluyi at 104th Regular Meeting held on the 2nd May, 2025.

In their various letters signed by Dr. O.A Oniyide, Registrar and Secretary to Council dated 6th May, 2025, the appointment of the Bursar is for a single tenure of five years with effect from 2nd June, 2025 while that of the Dictator, Works and Services takes effect from the date he assume duty but not later than 2nd of June, 2025

The Deputy Rector (Academics) Associate Prof. M.I Yusufu who represented the Rector Dr. Y.B Usman along side other Top Management Committee Members received them in his office on 2nd June, 2025.

The Deputy Rector-Academics, while welcoming the new appointees, urged them to settle down early and get themselves fully integrated into the working spirit of the present administration under the leadership of Dr Y.B Usman, Rector of the Institution.

Speaking further, he noted that the Rector believes in team work and operates an open door policy as he pilot the affairs of the Polytechnic.

The Top Management Committee Members who took time to speak one after the other, spoke in one voice with words of encouragement, high spirit and conviction that with the coming on board of the new Bursar and Director, Works and Services, the Polytechnic will witness more growth and development as it will be ever focus on providing quality education and maintaining high standard of service delivery to the community

The new appointees were re-assured of the hospitality and friendly nature of the Polytechnic community and wishes them a peaceful and fruitful tenure, while emphasizing that their appointments were ordained by God Almighty.

Usman Uba Ibrahim and Engr Fajilade Temitope Adeniyi have assumed duties in their various offices taking over from Alhaji Abubakar Danladi Onoja ( Fmr. Ag. Bursar) and Engr Friday Omagu ( Fmr.Ag. Director, Works and Services) respectively.
