A philanthropist and member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Asiwaju Prince Olatunji Olusoji has appealed to Nigerians to exercise patience and have faith in the Reform Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which is allegedly biting hard on the people, saying, at the nick of time, the hardship will give way for prosperity.

Speaking with Newsmen in Lokoja,
Olusoji said President Tinubu’s reforms reforms were necessary and just like every other change, it will start with inconveniences but at maturity, people will soon begin to feel the positive impacts.

He appeal to Nigerians to continue to support the government and the reelection of President Tinubu which is the best option for the country.

While commending the Governments and security agencies for their efforts at curtailing insecurity across the country, call for massive investment in the sector as security has become digital and sophistication.

He urged the people of Kogi West to wait till 2031 to enable Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to complete his two terms in office.

Asiwaju Olusoji stated that unless the Okun people resolve to unite, organize themselves into a purposeful political force and to shun devisive tendencies, the agitation for power shift will continue to elude them.

Olatunji Olatunji, a trained mechanical Engineer, a businessman and a philanthropist warned that the pitfall of 2023 Governorship election in which the kogi central and kogi East presented each consensus candidate, the Okuns fielded candidates in nearly all the parties, which enabled Governor Ododo to defeat candidates of Okun extraction right in their zone.

Prince Olusoji noted that, he has been involved in the arts of givings and selfless service to the people and has not contemplated on running for political office as being bandied by some people.

He added that having experienced the pangs of poverty in his growing up years, he was taught by his parents to make givings a life style, the idea that he has kept faith with up till today.

He dispelled rumours making the rounds that his generosity was for his political ambition, stressing that, God has blessed him beyond what public office will give, adding that the welfare of his people has been uppermost in his mind.

He said, God has blessed him so much that despite his modest background, he has been connected to people that matters, those with influence and powers,, making him to extend hands of fellowship to those who are less opportune .

He said as early as 2013, he launched Olusoji Olatunji foundation which has been meeting the needs of his people noting that every community in Okunland has benefited from his platform, ranging from distribution of school bags and exercise books to welfare packages for Ayere communities in Ijumu Local Government Area of kogi state.

He warned the people not to attach his generosity to politics, which is a grave mistake, as free givings is a way of life for him.

Olusoji, a stalwart of APC whose mother hails from a politically rich family in Warri, Delta State, said, he loved people coming to him with needs, stressing that he will be angry, when he is unable to solve it at the material moment.

He vowed not to play politics with the lives of his people, as he will accept whatever assignment Governor Ododo assign to him.

He said, he has never discussed his political ambition with anybody, admitting that, if Gov. Ododo approaches him for assignment, he will not hesitate to accept as long as it will open bright future for his people.

He said while some people are anticipating that he has come home to take over their chances of going to the Senate, House of Representatives or the office of the Deputy Governor, noted that those insinuations amuses him as, his present preoccupation is to improve on the lives of the people.

He urge the youth to be serious with their educational pursuit as it will unlock possibilities and create a channel for their greatness in the Future.
