The former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole has sent a message of appreciation to the former governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for gracing his 60th birthday, maintaining that what ever he becomes today after God is Former Gov. Yahaya Bello.

Prince Kolawole in a statement issued on Tuesday, thanked the former governor for the honour to attend the Thanksgiving service held to mark his 60th birthday adding that he will remain grateful to him.

Kolawole who described Alhaji Yahaya Bello as his political father said what ever he becomes today after God is Bello, reason why he has dedicated his politics like the Former to serving humanity.

He stressed that the former governor brought transformation to the state added that he also brought a successor, Alhaji Ahmed Ododo to consolidate on his achievement, expressed confidence that Gov. Ododo will surpass the achievements of his predecessor.

“To my leader and mentor, Former Governor Yahaya Bello who I had opportunity to work with, I am very grateful. I’m indeed also grateful to the Secretary to Government of Kogi State, Dr. Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade.

My sincere thanks also goes to my senior brother, Commander Jerry Omodara rtd, Security Adviser who represented the Governor,  and other Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants.

Special appreciation to Asiwaju Prince Olatunji Olusoji, Founder, Prince Olatunji Olusoji Foundation (PROOF) ably represented by Comrade Taiwo Arowolo and all members of the foundation who graced the occasion.

Others include the member representing Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon. Idris Salman, Hon. Funsho Olumoko, Pro-chancellor Federal University of Education Paskin, Plateau State, Hon Alfred Bello, member Kogi State House of Assembly Commission, Barrister Segun Modeyin, legal Adviser, Kabba Development Union (KDU) Dr. Femi Modeyin Klinsman, Hon. Olorunfemi Funsho, Chief Adegboyega Aka, chairman, Kabba Owe Okemeta Council of Chiefs, Mrs Tayo Leslie, Founder, Tayo Leslie Foundation.

To the Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr. Hellen  Adeniyi Aderigbe and other Commissioners’ that made my day eventful, I cannot but thank you enough.

My profound indebtedness goes to the Obaro of Kabba and Chairman, Kabba Bunu Area Traditional Council, Oba Solomon Owoniyi, Oba Gbeleko, Oba of Odolu, Oba Aiyegunle Igun – Bunu, Oba Edumo Bunu, Oba Igori – Bunu, Oba Illa-Bunu, Oba Aiyetoro Kiri – Bunu and their wives and all other traditional rulers who graced the occasion.

Similarly, permit me to thank all the Assembly Members, and Council Chairmen, particularly Hon. Haruna Ibrahim of Ijumu and Hon. Barrister Dare Michael of Kabba-Bunu LGAs, Elected Ward Councelors led by Council leaders of Both Kabba-Bunu and Ijumu Legislative Council, Hon. (Mrs) Comfort Obaromi and Hon. (Mrs) Modupe, all APC leaders, chairmen, stakeholders and members.

Permit me to express my profound gratitude to all clergymen, the good people of Kabba Bunu LGA,  and Kabba Development Union, Bunu Development Association other Associations and Unions who attended the occasion.

My profound gratitude goes to the Kogi State Commissioner For Police, Director DSS and other sister Security agencies for their efforts.

The Christian Association of Nigeria and Council of Ulaamau, Kabba Bunu Chapters.

To others too numerous to mention and who for want of time and space I may not be able to mention, Thank you sirs and Ma’s for finding time out of your busy schedule to bless me with your excellent presence. Your kind words, prayers and messages will remain indelible.
