Ahead of 2027 general election, the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Ododo has said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu still remain the best person that can lead the nation forward.
Speaking in Kabba, Kabba-Bunu local government area of the state on Friday during a stakeholders meeting of the All Progressive Congress (APC), the governor noted the people of Nigeria should not allowed opposition parties to deceive them.
According to him, Mr President is doing well and he is determined to do more for the people. “I see no reason some group of people want to come to power at all cost, what are they looking for, they should just step down for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
He noted that what ever problem the nation is facing today, it was created before the coming of President Tinubu and today Mr. President is doing all he could to restore glory of the country.
He commended the president for his rapid response to security challenges in the country adding that his strategy tackle the situation is commendable.
His words, ” The new INEC chairman is from Kogi also the new Chief of Army Staff is from Kogi and many more appointments from the by the President”. He said
He urged the people of Kabba-Bunu to see the President as somebody who God has sent to reposition the country adding that come 2027 presidential election, President Tinubu is the candidate of the people of Kogi state.
On security, Governor Ododo warn the people to stop supporting bandits stressing that anybody found wanting or collaborating with the bandits will be deal with.
He further disclosed that their houses will be brought down and also if such person owns filling station it will be demolish he said.
Earlier, the governor inspect Primary health care centers, erosion control and schools in the community.
