He expressed appreciation to the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Road Safety Matters, Hon. Suberu Yusuf John, PhD, and the conference organisers for considering him deserving of the honour.
Ohiare dedicated the award to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, praising the Governor’s leadership, confidence and support, which he said have created an atmosphere that encourages excellence in public service.
He also acknowledged the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, for his mentorship and leadership, noting that his guidance has continued to promote professionalism and innovation in the state’s information management system.
The Special Adviser further dedicated the award to members of the Government House Media Corps, commending their professionalism, loyalty and commitment to effectively publicising the achievements of the Ododo administration.
According to him, the recognition is a collective achievement rather than an individual accomplishment.
“I am sincerely grateful to receive the Outstanding Media Coordinator of the Year Award at the Strategic Conference on Road Safety. This award belongs to all of us and serves as motivation to continue serving with excellence,” he said.
Ohiare reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening strategic communication, media coordination and public engagement in support of Governor Ododo’s administration, while pledging to continue promoting initiatives that enhance development and public safety across Kogi State.
He concluded by giving glory to God, describing the award as both a privilege and a renewed call to greater service.
