President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been praised for maintaining equity in the distributions of political appointment across the Federation.
President General, Okun Development Association (ODA), Ambassador Akenson Rotimi gave the commendation in a statement in Lokoja.
The statement which was signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Mr Dayo Thomas convey it’s deep gratitude to President Tinubu for appointing Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN) as the new Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
The statement described the appointment as an affirmation of Professor Amupitan’s exceptional academic credentials, integrity and dedication to democratic principles.
It expressed also expressed appreciation to the appointee for his dedication to the interest of his homeland particularly in the quest for the creation of more states.
The statement whished him a successful tenure and God’s wisdom to excell in all his endeavors.
