The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, Kogi State Chapter is to commence unified examinations in the state.
The State Chairman of the association, Pastor Jimoh Reuben disclosed this at the a one day Central Working Committee training meeting of the association in Lokoja.
Pastor Reuben said the question papers, spanning from the Nursery to the Secondary classes for all registered private schools were ready, noting that the Olive Branch for new members was still fresh and receptive.
The Kogi State NAPPS Chairman vouched to liase and synergize with relevant authorities for training of all leaders, proprietors, teachers through modern workshops, with the mind of building capacity for enhanced education.
Jimoh said he was already dialoguing with stakeholders to monitor the standards of education at the private ownership level, all targeted at an overall educational lift. He noted too that efforts were in top gear to facilitate loans to school owners to maximize their potentials.
Themed “21st Century Leadership for Working Association”, the meeting featured lectures on security, ICT and interactive sessions as well as presentation of Certificate of Returns to elected members.
At the ceremony, the new Secretary General of the association for the state, Pastor Innocent Ukwumo nu James was officially inaugurated.
