The former speaker of Kogi State House Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole has said that his very sure of victory for the coming local government election.
Addressing supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and handing over the party’s flag to the Chairmanship candidate, Kabba-Bunu local government areas over the weekend, he said the APC is ready to win all the 21 local government councils poll come October 19
According to him, Governor Ahmed Ododo has done a lot for the state since he assumed office as governor, pointing out that the administration of the governor has improved the well-being of people.
He mentioned that at local government level, staff can now smile to the bank at the end of every month as the governor has put stop to percentage salaries as they now collected full payment of salaries.
He stressed that every civil servants at the state level now get salary before the end of every month.
He thanked the Governor for the rapid growth in the state adding that Alhaji Ahmed Ododo is a listening governor.
He therefore called on the people of Kabba-Bunu local government area to come out in thousands and vote for the APC Chairmanship candidate during the coming election.
Prince Kolawole also thanked all stakeholders of the party and called for joint efforts to give the party solid victory during the election
