The governor stressed that the Metropolitan Quick Response operation is a proactive step to enhance security and build upon the solid foundation of the state’s security architecture which started under the immediate past administration of Governor Yahaya Bello.

He commended the dedication and sacrifices of security agencies in the state and pledged to continue prioritizing technological enablers to enhance intelligence-gathering capabilities and to help in combating emerging security threats.

Governor Ododo who also acknowledged President Bola Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to reversing security challenges nationwide, expressed the full support of the government and people of Kogi State to the President in the fight against terrorists and criminals in the country.
