THE Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has presented a letter of appointment to the new Agbana of Insanlu, Moses Babatunde Etombi
The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftiancy Affairs, Engr. Abubakar Ohere presented the letter of appointment to the paramount ruler at the conference hall of the ministry of Local Government and Chieftiancy Affairs Lokoja.
Engr. Ohere said the appointment was made in accordance with the 2006 Local Government law on appointment and disposition of Chiefs.
The Commissioner thanked Insalu king makers for making the appointment of the new Agbana of Insalu rancour free. He maintained that the administration of Governor Bello will continue to appoint and upgrade traditional rulers in the state.
Engr. Ohere appealed to the electorate of Yagba East to vote for the return of Governor Bello in the November 16, 2019 election. He added that the return of Governor Bello will give room for the consolidation of his administration.
In his response the new Agbana of Insalu, His Royal Majesty, Oba Moses Babatunde Etombi thanked Governor Bello for his appointment. He assured him that he would continue to promote peace in his domain.
Commissioner of Finance who is also the son of Yagba East thanked the state government for the speed he used in the appointment of the new Agbana of Insalu.
He assured him that the electorate of his community will vote en masse for the return of Governor Bello to Lugard House.
In his speech, the member representing Yagba East Constituency, Hon. Jimoh Musa Omiata said Governor Bello has continue to carry along the traditional institution in his administration.
He assured the governor of massive votes from Yagba East in the November polls.
