The Ex-lawmaker, Senator Abubakar Sadiku Ohere has appreciated all his team members from across Kogi State, Kogi Central in particular for standing by and believing in him and stood by him during the political tussle and after the court case
Ohere said their presence and optimism gave him the resilience to stand firm and believe that there is no vanquish because there is hope for better days ahead.
The former Lawmaker appreciated his team at the stakeholders’ meeting held at the NAF conference center in Abuja.
He said as a grassroots politician, he believed so much in the power and decision of the people.
Ohere described the immediate past Governor and state leader. Yahaya Adoza Bello as his mentor and boss who brought him to the limelight of the political arena and he is pleased with and commended his giant strides in Kogi state in terms of education, security, infrastructure, and human capacity development across the three senatorial districts of the state.
According to him, the ex-Governor Bello will remain his boss, he pledged to support the mandate of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo with all his strength and technical know-how because good governance is a collective responsibility of all.
Senator Ohere is optimistic that Governor Ahmed Ododo is going to build on all the achievements of the State leader, Yahaya Bello.
He charged his team and Kogi citizens at large to cooperate with the present administration to achieve all already established plans for the greater Kogi State.
He tasked his team members to come out with wealth creations and empowering projects that would take many youths and women off the labour market.
With this, he said it will foster better development and means of generating revenue for economic growth in the state.
The Distinguished senator who is known for his humanitarian and philanthropic way of life, restoring hope to the less privileged, and sponsoring students from secondary schools to tertiary institutions through his foundation has promised to continue to put smiles on people’s faces.
Some of these supported students used the occasion to attend the meeting to express their gratitude to Senator Abubakar Ohere Sadiq for all he has done for them.
At the meeting, many who were privileged to enjoy his numerous humanitarian activities across the states, professors, doctors, and a group of engineers were in attendance.
In their various remarks, they commended the Ex-Lawmaker, Senator Ohere for his good deeds, resilience, and courage to move on.
They encouraged him to keep doing good and never to be distracted.
They also urged him to use his wealth of experience to support Governor Ahmed Ododo for a greater Kogi state,
Part of the event is the presentation of awards and gifts to the ex-lawmaker for his good work and appreciation.
Senator Abubakar Ohere was overwhelmed by the large turnout of people who came from different local government areas in Kogi state to appreciate him.
