THE member House of Representatives, representing Ikeja Federal constituency and former deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2015 election, Hon James Abiodun Faleke has debunked the rumour flying round the social media that he was induced with the sum of N1billion by Kogi state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
Faleke at a reunion meeting with governor Yahaya Bello said that he never collected any dime from anybody for whatsoever reason. He described those peddling the rumours as the enemy of Kogi state.
Faleke said he was neither forced nor financially influenced to team up support with the governor ahead of the forthcoming election as peddled by rumour mongers.
He added that his boss Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taught him not to abandon those who stands with him during and after the election hence the needs for him to handover his political structure to the governor.
Faleke said that whatever that transpired between the governor and his political family has been put behind, adding that he looks forward to the future because according to him governor Yahaya Bello is qualified of delivering a better future for Kogi state.
Faleke commended the governor for his proactive approach to the security of live and properties of the people of kogi state, according to him the governor performed excellently well upon commencement of the 2016 screening exercise, Faleke said that this is not to say the governor never made a mistake but he was able to accept his mistakes and make corrections when and where necessary.
Faleke said that the 16years rule of PDP in kogi sate was put to halt when he was the deputy governorship candidate to the Late Prince Abubakar Audu, noting that PDP fumbled and rumbled throughout their tenures in office with nothing to show.
He assured the governor of his maximum support towards winning the November 16th governorship election.
