A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Barr. Zacheaus Dare Micheal has described those threatening to drag the party’s NWC to court over the indirect form of primaries model as jesters, shameless, says the APC does not have a record of such members.
Barr. Dare stated this in a reaction to the plot by those he called faceless stakeholders, called them jesters masquerading as APC members, said their threat is not only laughable, but mindless and meaning less.
The APC aspirant said their malicious plot to make APC lose Kogi state would not see the light of the day, urged the NWC to stand by their decision on conducting indirect primaries in the state as announced recently.
Barr. Dare described the group of those saying they are dragging the party’s NWC to court as members of ADC and PDP, but masquerading as APC members, said they are not known to the people in the state.
Barr. Dare said it is a known fact that the said persons claiming to be APC members worked to ensure that the party didn’t win in the general election, said fortunately by dint of hard work the party won overwhelmingly, urged those he described as political masquerades to come home rather than act as arm chair APC members in Abuja.
Barr. Dare says his campaign organization for the umpteenth time restates it support for indirect primaries, urged the NWC of the party not to take the ranting of the confused politicians as serious, pointing out that it is unfortunate that they want to reap where they didn’t sow.
Barr. Dare described the group of political actors claiming to be APC stakeholders as shameless, useless and ethnic bigots, who think they can scuttle the APC chances in the forthcoming Kogi governorship election, insisting that the indirect primaries model is a winning team the said politicians working with the opposition are clamouring to ensure that the APC loose Kogi state.
Barr. Dare said the NWC decision which affirmed the decision of the state executives of APC to conduct indirect primaries remains the popular decision for the good of the state.
