“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain,” are the comforting words in Philippians 1:21 which Christians like the well wishers who gathered today to pay their last respect to Pastor Ayo Adun held on to in grief.
Pastor Ayo Adun who was the Senior Pastor and Founder of Millennium Christian Centre, one of the biggest Churches in Lokoja, Kogi State has been laid to rest.
Adun died on Sunday December 26th, 2021 when his car dammed into a stationed trailer that had developed fault on the road in Lokoja.
The heavy duty vehicle did not have any caution sign, and the Clergyman did not see it, causing his death.
Upon reports of his demise, Nigerians have taken turns in tributaries to the man whom many have described as kind and altruistic.
May his soul rest in peace.
