The Idah Local Government Council,has announced the death of the son of the Late Attah Igala, Abdulkadir Kabba Aliyu Obaje .
The statement by Comrade Bala Musa Eleojo, Special Adviser , Information, Communication and Strategy to the council chairman, said the late prince died in Abuja on Wednesday after a brief illness.
The statement added that the remains of the late prince would be buried today, Thursday 19 June, 2015 in Idah in accordance with Islamic rites.

The Idah Local Government Council announces with profound sadness the sudden passing of Prince Abdulkadir Kabba Aliyu Obaje, son of Lt. Dr. Aliyu Obaje, the former Atta of Igala, who departed this life after a brief illness in Abuja.
The remains of the late Prince will be moved to Idah tomorrow, and his burial will take place immediately upon arrival, in accordance with Islamic rites.
The Executive Chairman of Idah Local Government Council, Alh. Alfa Halilu extends his deepest condolences to the family of Lt. Dr. Aliyu Obaje, Aju Aku Ruling Dynasty, the four Ruling House, Idah Local Government Area, Igala kingdom and all well-meaning Kogites/Nigerians at Large.
The council kindly requests prayers and support for the family during this difficult period.
May the Almighty grant the deceased eternal peace and the family the fortitude to bear this loss.
