Dr. Yahaya Baba Usman, Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Idah has called for cooperation and unity of the Management Committee of the institution.
The call was made during his first interactive session with the Management Committee on 9th January,2023 at the New Multipurpose Hall of the institution.
This was made known in a press statement issued by Head, Public Relations & Protocol Unit, Office of the Rector, Mr. S. S. Omale said
Dr. Y. B. Usman who assumed duty on 27th December, 2022 as the 8th Rector of the institution, stressed the need for Members of the Management Committee to be committed, that the weight of the Polytechnic administration rests on their shoulders
The humane and forward- looking foresight Rector, while thanking the Committee for the warm reception accorded him during the handing and taking over of the affairs of the institution, urged them to continue rendering their selfless services and called for unity of purpose. Which is the only way to build on the present achievements and move the Polytechnic forward.
Abdulkadir B. Abba,the Registrar,who was represented by Mr. Ernest Katsina,Deputy Registrar(Exams & Records) who spoke on behalf of other Committee Members,pledged their support and loyalty while Engr.(Pst.) Sunday Apeh, Deputy Rector in his closing remarks assured the Rector of Management Committee’s readiness to work assiduously in taking the Polytechnic to a greater height.
