The Olojah of Ojah in Akoko Edo LGA Of Edo State, HRH Oba Daniel Suru Lawani, Efiabeka 11,Okogbe of Ojah , lost his mother, Mama Abigail Adeshola Lawani,last Sunday at the ripe age of 104years.
Mama Lawani, popularly referred to as Olori was the last surviving wife of Late Oba Lawani the father of the present reigning Okogbe.
In a statement, the Olojah described his mother as a very peaceful mother who made the Palace peaceful for all inhabitants.
He emphasized that since he grew up to know his mother,he never saw her argue with anyone adding that her peaceful posture might be responsible for the longevity of her life.
Oba HRH Lawani, thus, advised that as living Beings we should endeavour to live in peace with all and serve God in truth and faithfulness. It’s on record that the Olori was a devoted Christian throughout her lifetime.
Mama Lawani, who is survived by many Children,grandchildren and great grandchildren will be missed by all who came in contact with her, especially the Palace and the entire ancient Ojah Community.
