Governor Ahmed Ododo has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle following the resignation of the Kogi State Commissioner for Works, Engr. Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf.
As part of the changes, Barrister Salami Ozigi Deedat has been redeployed from the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to the Ministry of Works.
The governor also approved the nomination of the immediate past Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello, popularly known as Dollar, as Commissioner-designate.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by the Secretary to the Kogi State Government, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade.
According to the statement, Bello is expected to appear before the Kogi State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
Governor Ododo thanked the outgoing Commissioner for Works for his service to the state and wished him success in his future endeavours.
The statement added that the redeployment takes immediate effect.
