Eniola confirmed receipt of fees defrayed for 101 students in the various departments by the federal government under the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) popularly know as students loan.

The Vice Chancellor who confirmed the payment for the first batch of applicants noted the importance of the payment to parents, sponsors and students alike, urged the beneficiaries to renew their commitments to their studies, and their loyalty to the country Nigeria.

The Bursar of the university, Mrs. Florence Alabi advised the students on the processes. She noted that payments have been received into the purse of the university for each of the 101 students.

The NELFUND initiative is a non interest education loan that students can access to cover their school fees throughout their first degree program. The Fund also has a 20,000 naira monthly stipend component.

This first batch of successful applications into the Fund cut across the various departments of the university.
