A. B. Abdullahi and Co., a counsel/Firm of Solicitors to Hon. Abdulmalik Ibrahim Arewa, Chairman Kuppa Fadama Farmers Unity Association, his client has demanded the sum of Six hundred and twenty thousand naira (N620,000,00 for being the value of the three GYB2PYB Presidential Campaign Bill Boards destroyed by the DSO or to face legal consequence.
A.B. Abdullahi and Co., in a copy of the letter served the DSO and issued to Newsmen reads thus:
The D.S.O,
Mr, Yusuf Bala Muhammed (Mistics)
Lokoja Local Government Area, Kogi State.
Dear Sir,
DEMAND FOR THE SUM OF SIX HUNDRED AND TWENTY THOUSAND NAIRA (620, 000.00) ONLY BEING THE VALUE OF THE THREE (3) GYBZPYB PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN BILL BOARDS WHICH YOU DESTROYED OR FACE THE LEGAL CONSEQUENCE.
We are Counsel/Firm of Solicitors to HON. ABDULMALIK IBRAHIM AREWA Chairman Kuppa Fadama Farmers Unity Association (KUFFUA) hereinafter referred to as “our client” and on whose clear instructions we write you as captioned above.
It is the brief of Our Client that he is a card carrying member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) within Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State and the Chairman Kuppa Fadama Farmers Unity Association (KUFFUA) an association whose mission among others is to campaign and canvass GYB2PYB 2023.
It is the further brief of Our Client that sequel to its mission above among others he on behalf of himself and the association (KUFFUA) embarked on some Publicity activities which includes but, not limited to the constructions and mounting of Four (4) GYB2PYB presidential – campaign bill boards at Four (4) different locations within the Lokoja Metropolis namely: Lokoja Local Government Secretariat, All Progressive Congress (APC) Party Office, Mounti Patti Road by “A” Division Police Station and lastly at the Ministry of Agriculture. But to Our Client’s dismay the so called D.S.O, Lokoja Local Government Area, MR. YUSUF BALA MUHAMMED (MISTICS) who called himself an APC member went behind and destroyed all the GYB2PYB presidential campaign bill boards at Four (4) different locations within the Lokoja Metropolis save the one at the Ministry of Agriculture.
Consequently, we demand as captioned above within Seven (7) clear Days upon the service of this letter on you. Failure of which we shall take a legal action against‘you without any further recourse to you.
