The Kogi State Chairman of the Social Democratic Party(SDP) Alhaji. Muktar Atima, has asked members to disregard any meeting called by some mischievous and disgruntled persons claiming to be leaders.
Atima in a press statement issued in Lokoja described the purported invitation to a meeting by one A.O.S as null and void.
He described the statement as intended to break the ranks of their members, as he appealed to them to disregard any of such invitation as it is criminal and laced with mischief motives.
Atima described the SDP in the state under his leadership as one big united family, adding that security and law enforcement agents have been told to arrest those parading themselved as fake SDP members.
The chairman commended members of the party for their abiding faith, assuring the party would soon reclaim its stolen mandate as freely expressed by the people at the 16 November, 2019 Kogi governorship election
