The Kogi state Head of Service, Mr. Elijah Evinemi has congratulated the state workforce, especially the Muslim faithfuls on the successful completion of Ramadan fast and Eid-el-fitri celebrations

Mr Evinemi in Statement urged the workers to imbibe the lessons of sacrifice, patriotism and generosity which typified the period of the Ramadan fast.

He assured the workers of the commitment of the government of His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo to provide the necessary tools that will make the workplace conducive for all workers.

The Head of Service said that the government is very much aware of the fact that the civil servants remained the veritable vehicle that will drive the programmes and policies of government to its desired destination, adding that their welfare also remained a priority of government.

He however warned against indolence, absenteeism and other forms of negative vices, stressing that the government is in a haste to deliver democracy dividends to the people and will therefore not tolerate any obstacles from the workforce.

Mr. Evinemi thanked the Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo for his positive disposition towards the workers, assuring that the workers will definitely reciprocate his kind gestures towards them by ensuring that they deliver on the job at all times
