In a remarkable display of commitment to rewarding dedication and professionalism within the Nigeria Police Force, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, in his wisdom and motivational leadership, has approved the promotion of several senior officers across the country.

In line with this development, the Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, psc, alongside his management team, decorated the newly promoted senior officers at a brief but colorful ceremony held at the Command Headquarters in Lokoja.

The decorated officers include ACP Aliyu Demba, Officer-in-Charge of SID, ACP Mustapha Tijjani ACP Admin, ACP Ibrahim Jawi Area Commander Ankpa, ACP George Ekpe Area Commander Okehi, ACP Kalu Nnana Area Commander Idah and SP Margaret Idowu Ikheloa 2ic Medical.

Their elevation reflects the IGP’s vision of strengthening the leadership structure and boosting morale among personnel of the Force.

While addressing the promotes, the Commissioner of Police congratulated them and stated that new rank comes with greater responsibilities. He charged them to remain professional, committed, and proactive in the discharge of their duties.

He admonished them to double their efforts stressing that promotion is not just a reward, but a call to higher service and expectations.

He further urged them to use their rank to bless others and not to oppress the junior officers. While admonishing them to continue serving with integrity and renewed zeal.

The event was attended by members of the Command’s management Team, senior officers, family members, and well-wishers who came to celebrate the career milestones of the newly promoted officers.
