The Kogi central senatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Natasha Akpoti has expressed concern over her observation concerning the use of 2015 electoral paper in some polling units in Ihima, Kogi Central.
Akpoti who spoke to journalists shortly after casting her vote at her Kuroko ward 022 said she got the report with dismay that INEC was said to be issuing 2015 ballot papers to voters in Oboroke polling unit.
According to her she had already notified INEC to register her protest.
She however expressed cautious satisfaction with peaceful conducts so far at the election.
When you view it against the backdrop of violence that used to greet elections in Kogi central, you will appreciate the peace we have at the moment and it is a thing of joy.
She expressed hope such atmosphere of peace will be observed all day.
Also speaking on the peace conduct of the election, senator Mohammed Ohiare expressed satisfaction with the peace observed at the election.
