IGALA Cultural Development Association (ICDA), a social-cultural group has conferred the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Hon Edward Onoja with merit award of Commander of Igala Kingdom considering his meritorious service to humanity and Igalaland.
In a letter presented and announced by the president of ICDA, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Amodu to the Ejeh Olamaboro, HRH Simeon Ujah for onward presentation to Chief Edward Onoja, said Onoja is a personality to reckon with,being a man who has dedicated himself to the service of Igalaland, adding that the people of Olamaboro are proud of his achievements.
He also commended the Ejeh Olamaboro was the brain behind Onoja agreeing to assist in the completion of Igala Unity House project which the Chief of Staff helped to mobilized funds from his boss, Governor Yahaya Bello.
According to the president, “The National Executive members of lgala Cultural and Development Association has approved your nomination for the conferment of lgala Merit Award as Commander of Igala Kingdom (CIK).
“This award is as a result of your selfless efforts and contributions to the growth and development of lgala Nation.
He further said the award will be officially presented to Hon Onoja on the 14th of September, 2019 at Igala Unity Hall in Anyigba.
He therefore congratulated the Chief of Staff on his awards.
