Four persons are currently on the run as the Kogi State PDP Chairman, as security agencies have begun investigation and efforts to arrest four persons who are currently on the run.

This followed a petition titled: Petition Against Enemona Anyebe, Umoru Tijani Aruwa, Abubakar Yusuf, Sule Garba, Muktar Communication, Over Impersonation, Maligning My Reputation and Attempt to Create Breakdown of Law and Order In the State.

In a strongly worded petition addressed to the relevant state authorities, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, the duly elected Chairman of the Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has brought to light a concerted effort by certain individuals to undermine his office through impersonation, defamation, and threats to public order.

Hon. Gambo, who was affirmed as PDP Chairman by a Federal High Court judgment in Lokoja on October 11, 2025, expressed deep concern over the actions of Enemona Anyebe, Umoru Tijani Aruwa, Abubakar Yusuf, Sule Garba, and the media outfit Muktar Communication. According to the petition, these individuals and entities have engaged in sustained campaigns of impersonation on social media, issued insulting statements, and employed derogatory language aimed at maligning the Chairman’s reputation.

The petition highlights a recent incident where Umoru Tijani Aruwa, identified as the State Public Relations Officer of the PDP, shared a Christmas message that sought to cast doubt on Hon. Gambo’s legitimacy.

It further alleges that Enemona Anyebe, alongside recruited social media influencers, has repeatedly used uncomplimentary names and descriptions to discredit the Chairman and bring his office into disrepute.

Citing the need to uphold the rule of law and prevent a breakdown of law and order, Hon. Gambo warned that continued harassment and threats could provoke his supporters and other PDP members to retaliate, potentially escalating tensions amid the state’s already fragile security situation.

In light of these developments, the Chairman has formally requested urgent intervention from law enforcement agencies to address the actions of the named individuals. The petition specifically calls for action against:

1. Enemona Anyebe
2. Umoru Tijani Aruwa – 0805 717 8208
3. Abubakar Yusuf – 0807 990 9302
4. Sule Garba – 0811 357 3737
5. Muktar Communication – 0802 826 6834

Attached to the petition are screenshots of social media posts where Enemona Anyebe is alleged to have impersonated the Chairman, and statements issued by Umoru Tijani Aruwa referring to Anyebe as “Chairman,” alongside other disparaging remarks.

Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo concluded the petition by urging swift action to avert further deterioration of peace and security in Kogi State.
