Following the abduction of a royal father in Omala by kidnappers last week Monday, the State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Ododo has directed security agencies to ensure quick rescue of the victim and apprehend the abductors.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by Kingsley Femi Fanwo Hon. Commissioner for Information and Communications and made available to newsmen, has said security agencies have also been tasked to continuously police flashpoints to reduce incidents like this to the barest minimum.
His words, “The Government of Kogi State will continue to prioritize the safety of lives and property of residents and make the State inhabitable to criminals.
“Residents are urged to volunteer credible intelligence to security agencies to assist ongoing security efforts at rescuing the victim. In line with our public communication integrity, we will keep the public informed of updates on this matter.
