The International President of Standup For Women Society (SWS) Barr. Deborah Ijadele-Adetona felicitates with Christians in Nigeria on Easter.

In a statement made public by the Association’s Public Relations Officer, Lib. Billie Nwogu, Deborah said that Easter is the reason why believers are called Christians.

The international President urged Christians across the country to celebrate by expressing the characteristics of Jesus Christ who loved, presented himself as the sacrificial lamb, died, buried, and resurrected for mankind’s justification.

“As we mark the day, let the unconditional love, forgiveness, sacrifice, and empathy as demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ be revealed through you” She added.

Barr. Ijadele-Adetona, noted that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ taught us the price tag he placed on mankind which cannot be quantified by any most expensive diamond or gold.

She called Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for the leaders across the country saying, it is the only way to express our sincere love and support to them because to lead any group of persons is not as easy as some persons think.

Deborah encouraged Christians to practice invaluable lessons such as forgiveness, selflessness, and perseverance.

“During this economic hardship, I know this phase will give way for good time because Jesus Christ triumphed over the wicked and darkness of this world.

“As we go through this moment that is hard on the people, let us be motivated by this act of unconditional love and reach out to less privileged and venerable ones who are seen around us.

SWS international President added that if we can sincerely do to others what Jesus did on earth, then Nigeria and the world at large will be a better and united place for all.
