Today, I join family, friends and well-wishers in celebrating an exceptional man, Barrister Nasser Ahmed, whose life reflects humility, kindness, grace and quiet strength. Fondly known as the Dan Darma of Lokoja, he is a man whose name inspires admiration not simply because of his title, but because of the noble character and compassion he brings to everyone around him.
Barrister Nasser Ahmed is not only a respected legal practitioner, he is also a man of noble heritage and distinguished background. Yet, despite his accomplishments and status, he remains remarkably humble and approachable. In a society where position often creates distance, he has continued to treat people with warmth, respect and sincerity.
As Chairman of Kano Central Hotel and Broadfield Hotel Apo Abuja, Barrister Ahmed has shown outstanding leadership, vision and dedication to excellence. Beyond his business achievements, however, is a man whose greatest strength lies in the positive impact he makes in the lives of others.
He is generous with his time, open-hearted in his relationships and ever willing to support those around him.
I consider myself fortunate to have met him about two years ago. From the very first day, our relationship felt less like a new acquaintance and more like a long-standing bond.
Since then, he has shown me a level of kindness and accessibility that is truly rare. His doors are always open, and every encounter with him is marked by the same warmth, sincerity and generosity of spirit.
One of his most admirable qualities is his calm and gentle nature. He is soft-spoken, yet his words carry wisdom and meaning. He listens attentively, speaks thoughtfully and leaves lasting impressions through his humility and composure.
Indeed, one could say that his life is a lesson in itself — a model of patience, dignity and respect.
Barrister Nasser Ahmed is also a deeply God-fearing man. His faith is not expressed merely in words, but in the way he lives.
He demonstrates integrity, honesty and compassion in all that he does, quietly inspiring others to live with the same sense of purpose and values.
He also possesses an effortless charm and dignified presence that naturally commands respect.
Though refined and elegant, he remains friendly, approachable and genuinely caring. His strength lies not in demanding attention, but in the authenticity of his character.
Among the many memories I cherish is the affectionate nickname he gave me — “Emilokan” — because of my admiration for Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It is a simple gesture, but one that reflects his humour, thoughtfulness and ability to connect personally with those around him.
It is also noteworthy that Barrister Nasser Ahmed shares his birthday with President Tinubu, a coincidence that feels symbolic in many ways. Great men often leave their mark on the world in different ways, and Barrister Ahmed is certainly one of those whose influence continues to touch lives positively.
On this special occasion, I pray that Almighty God grants him many more years in good health, peace and fulfilment. May he continue to enjoy greater success, deeper happiness and continued impact in all his endeavours. May his life remain a source of inspiration to generations yet unborn.
Thank you, sir, for your kindness, generosity and steadfast support. Thank you for showing, through your example, that true greatness is measured not by wealth or status, but by humility, compassion and the ability to uplift others.
Happy Birthday, Barrister Nasser Ahmed. May this new chapter bring you abundant joy, lasting peace and even greater accomplishments. You are celebrated today and always.
