Prominent sons and daughters of Kogi state under the platform of APC’AF across the 21local government councils of Kogi State were in Lugard House, to congratulates Gov. Yahaya Bello on his victory in the recent governorship election.
The delegation which was led by Hon. Umar Yahaya, was received by the Chief of Staff to the Kogi state governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku.
Briefing newsmen after the meeting, the group said they were in government house to felicitate with the governor and to discuss on how they can be of support to the new government in order to enhance the standard of living of the people of the state.
“We came to congratulate our leader and boss, Governor Yahaya Bello over his victory and inauguration for a second term and to also pledge our unflinching support to his government.
“We are optimistic that the governor will do more in this second term and we will continue to give him our necessary support to accomplish the goals he set aside for Kogites this tenure. With God on our side, governor shall deliver excellently well”, Hon. Yahaya said.
It could be recalled that the APC’AF has championed various roles during previous elections across the 21 LGAs, all geared towards the actualization of victory for the APC in the state.
