In an official announcement signed by the Publicity Secretary, Engr. Hamzat I. Isa-Amoka, the party said the exercise was conducted peacefully, transparently, and credibly, with members across the state participating in the process.

For Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency, Hon. Sanni Salau Ogembe emerged as the party’s candidate. Engr. Muhammed Ahovi Yusuf will fly the APC flag in Adavi/Okehi, while Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem was picked for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.

In Lokoja/Koton-Karfe, Hon. Danladi Aguye secured the ticket, while Hon. Arc. Salman Idris emerged in Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu.

For Yagba East/Yagba West/Mopa-Muro, the party chose Hon. Leke Joseph Abejide as its candidate.

Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali was named the flag bearer for Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro Federal Constituency.

Hon. Paul Haruna Gowon will represent Dekina/Bassa, while Hon. Victor Omale Ojogbane emerged for Idah/Igalamela/Ofu/Ibaji Federal Constituency.

The party congratulated all successful candidates on their emergence and commended party faithful and stakeholders for ensuring the primaries were conducted without rancour.

It noted that the peaceful outcome reflected growing internal democracy within the APC in Kogi State.

“Together, we move forward in unity and victory for a greater Kogi State,” the statement read.
