EXPULSION OF HON. DURO MESEKO MEMBERSHIP FROM THE ALL-PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS, ODO-APE WARD, KABBA/BUNU LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF KOGI STATE
Following an emergency meeting to study the report of the disciplinary committee setup to investigate the anti-party activities of Hon. Duro Meseko with the ADC party candidate in the forthcoming November governorship elections in Kogi State by the executive committee of APC in Odo Ape ward. The executive committee hereby announce the immediate expulsion of Hon. Duro Meseko as recommended by the disciplinary committee.
It is an obvious fact that for some time, Hon Duro Meseko has engaged himself in multiple anti- party activities, including publicly supporting ADC party in campaigning for an ADC governorship candidate in the state in the election slated for November 11, 2023 contrary to the party’s constitution. All efforts to caution and address the unruly behavior, He refused to refrain and also declined the invitation of the disciplinary committee.
In view of this deliberate attempt to destroy the party APC and discourage its numerous members and supporters, the party is left with no other option but to approve and adopt the recommendations of the disciplinary committee, which recommended his expulsion from the party with immediate effect.
We hereby request the state organ of the party to endorse the expulsion of Hon. Duro Meseko from APC.
