Ajaokuta Youths for Good Governance Initiative has described one year in office of Hon. Lawal Idrisu Muhammed, member representing Ajaokuta Federal constituency as wasteful and a legislative misfortune.
Comrade Abdulhameed Ivavah who spoke through her leader, Comrade Mohammed James, the group highlighted how Lawal was marketed to them by APC leadership in the local government as a good product, only to discover they were deceived or rather he (Lawal) appeared an angel in devil’s clothing.
Further expressing their dissatisfaction with the leadership style of the House of Rep member
The secretary of the group, Comrade Abubakar Ibrahim also noted that Lawal’s one year in office is as disastrous as his previous first tenure, noting that the people of Ajaokuta can not boast of a single infrastructural development, not to talk of human development from the lawmaker.
Other members of the group described the legislator as a bad product that shouldn’t be marketed to them in the first place.
Another member of the group noted that “consequent upon his poor leadership style in the first tenure which made the well meaning indigenes of Ajaokuta LGA to reject him for second tenure, he was able to influence the cabal of His Excellency Gov Yahaya Adoza Bello and he was imposed on the good people of Ajaokuta as an anointed candidate.
“It is on this notion we wish to draw the attention of His Excellency Gov Yayaha Bello to as a matter of urgency to call on our absconded, misathropic leader to order and mentor him on what good leadership is all about. READ  Hon. Samuel Zakari: The Change is Here.
“The group therefore called on the leadership of the All Progressive Congress to draw the attention of Hon. Lawal to these complaints and force him to attend to the people of his constituency in terms of infrastructural and human development.”
The youths added that they voted Hon Lawal for a purpose and therefore has the right to call him to wake up and fulfill the purpose and stop diverting funds meant for the constituency into his private company and consciously shying away from his legislative responsibility.
