A 29 year old female armed robber by name Amarachi Godwin also known as Leader has been arrested by the Delta State Police while 3 of her gangs were killed during a shootout.
The manhunt stared when residents raised the alarm which led to a swift action from the police but In an attempt to escape, the criminals engaged the police in a shootout which led to three of them been killed.
According to the commissioner of police, John Amadi 4 Ak 47 rifles, a toyota corolla car and cash of N645,000 where recovered from the gang.
The female suspect blamed her actions on the devil’s handiwork “ i’ve been part of 6 operations and I’ve personally made over 3 million naira, i joined the gangs because things were tough for me and nobody was ready to help me financially. I regret my actions, I promise to change if I’m given the second chance
