President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Matthew Tonlagha, a renowned Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist, on his 50th birthday, praising his contributions to community-building and nation-building.

Attaining the age of 50 is a significant milestone, and I join Tonlagha’s friends and family to celebrate this special occasion.
It is fitting that he is unveiling a book as part of the activities to mark his 50th birthday.
I commend him for his pursuit of knowledge and chronicling for posterity.
I also acknowledge Tonlagha’s years of effort in community-building and, by extension, nation-building through his advocacies for the Niger Delta communities.
