The Federal Polytechnic Idah Reconsitutes Staff School Management Committee.

The Federal Polytechnic Idah, in line with its commitment to providing quality education, has reconstituted the Staff School Management Committee (SSMC).

The committee, chaired by Mr. Yakubu Ali, comprises twelve members drawn from various departments and unions within the institution.

The SSMC’s mandate includes formulating policies, reviewing curricula, supervising properties and finances, and ensuring the provision of adequate facilities for effective teaching and learning.

The Registrar of the institution, Dr. O. A. Oniyide, signed the appointment letters of the SSMC members, with the committee’s tenure lasting two years with effect from 4th September, 2024.

The Top Management Committee (TMC) expressed their confidence in the new committee and their ability to provide leadership and direction to the Staff School.

The reconstitution is a significant step towards ensuring that the Staff School continues to provide quality education to the children of the Polytechnic’s Staff and host community.

The committee’s dedication and hard work will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of the institution as a whole.

The following constitute the Members of SSMC :

1. Mr. Yakubu Ali – ASUP Chairman. -Chairman
2. Head Teacher – FPI. Staff School.-Member
3. Mrs. Ohunene B. Sani – Central Library.-Member
4. Mrs. Esther A. Okekwu – Central library.-Member
5. Mr. John O. Ochimana – Academic Affairs.-Member
6. P. T. A Chairman – FPI. Staff school-Member
7. Mrs. Hajara I. Abdullahi – FST.-Member
8. Mrs. Dorcas O. Francis – Bursary-Member
9. Mr. Aromeh Micheal – Fire Unit, Rep. SSANIP-Member
10. Mr. Abel Idoko Adejo -DWS, Rep. NASU-Member
11. Mr. Isiaka Haruna – Social Science & Humanities.-Member
12. Mr. Sunday Amaje – PAR (P-SS)-.Secretary
