A 100 level student of Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin, Aminat Tajudeen has reportely slumped and died while receiving a lecture in a lecture room.
Our Correspondent gathered that the incident occurred around 1:30 pm on Wednesday as the deceased had collected her matriculation gown for the ceremony scheduled for Thursday before she slumped and died.
They added that Aminat was rushed to the school clinic after she suddenly slumped during a lecture.
She has been buried at the Muslim cemetery, Osere, Ilorin.
The spokesperson of the college, Mrs Abibat Zubair who confirmed the incident added that Aminat was mourned by the college and students during the matriculation ceremony.
“The provost visited the parents yesterday to sympathise with them and also mourned her on Thursday during the matriculation ceremony together with the students,” she added.
