I came across this article titled, by a certain belligerent character, Nda Aaron, who ply his banal trade solely on social media.
His attempt to twerk contemporary political development in kogi State to suit his sinister end was dead on arrival.
It’s better to put in perspective, the message and the messenger within the context of this deliberate mischief being orchestrated by him.
Rightly so, Nda Aaron was an SSA to the Governor prior to 2019, but on the second term of his Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, he made wider and extensive consultations statewide with key stakeholders in constituting his cabinet, it was then discovered that Nda Aaron lack foundation, origin and traceable local government, he is igala by daybreak, lunch time he is bassa and at sunset a lokoja indigene, he is indeed an amorphous young man with out character and credible origin trying to get etch out a living through politics; a focused new direction government will have none of this, hence his vile grudges against the party and the government of Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello.
The timing of this articles bellies the disguised intention of this pitiable messenger, as we approach the party state congress to re-affirmed the second tenure of honourable Abdullahi Bello AKA Dollar as the state party chairman, the kogi political talisman and the found missing link in kogi Politics.
It is designed as two edged sword to mendaciously discredit the ever soaring high presidential ambition of Governor Yahaya Bello, it’s an ambition that has left Egypt unknown to his traducers and the principal he claimed to be working for.
Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello believes in equity and fairness, but merits, capability and experience thrumps the former, hence the choice of Abdullahi Bello AKA Dollar as the party Chairman, the new direction adminstration did not look at precedence from Governor Ibrahim Idris of PDP tenure where both the party chairman and the governor are of igala ethic stock.
The single parameter to judge a party chairman is the outcome in any election, on this, he is unarguably the most successful party chairman in the history of Kogi contemporary politics, the record speaks for itself: 3 Senators out of 3, 7 house of representatives out of 9, he lost one on judicial technicalities, and all the 25 house of Assemblies in APC kitty, same with local councils chairman, this is achieved through his stealth strategies in the elections. The APC party in the state is growing from strength to strength as a result of purposeful leadership.
With relish, the decision of honourable Abdullahi Bello AKA Dollar as the party chairman turns out to be another wise decision the governor took by supplanting mediocrity on ethic sentiment with merit.
In Nda Aaron futile attempt at the hatchet job, he mischievously misconstrued the fundamentals of progressive politics with his warped knowledge of ethnic politics; honourable Dollar was a pioneer member of Action Congress, AC, and
at the first convention of the party held in kaduna at the international trade fair complex, Hon Abdullahi Bello single handedly picked Dr AbdulAzeez Farouk as the Vice Chairman, North Central, inspite of opposition, Prince Shola Akonmode, Arc Abdulmumuni okara, senator Ado Shuaibu, senator Muhammed Ohiare and Dr AbdulAzeez Farouk are living witnesses.
It’s intentional deceit to omit the formation of APC by parties: PDP, ACN, CPC, ANPP and others, he resigned his membership of PDP out of personal conviction and belief in the ambition of his friend, then as Alh Yahaya Bello, to contest for the position of governor of the state
It’s not out character for the ilks of Nda Aaron who believes that politic is dirty, as we race towards 2023, this is their season of boarish rampage where they go into the rubbish bin to rake out dirts on those playing politics of progressives, as it is clearly a predictable series of mudslinging action, we will never go low with the feral porker but to always set the record straight.
NDA Aaron, my piece of advice to you is you shouldn’t at any cost try to bring down a building that once sheltered you even when you are at loggerhead with some co-occupants who fed and clothe you.
