The Door-2-Door movement, founded by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (alias Tompolo), has come under attack from malicious social media campaigns aimed at trivializing its efforts to mobilize Nigerians for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection in 2027.
Specifically, these campaigns have falsely associated the movement with frivolous activities such as frying and sharing plantain chips during campaigns for the reelection of the President.

Protem National Coordinator, Door-to-Door, said that; “We want to categorically state that these claims are entirely baseless and have no connection to our campaign strategy. Door-2-Door is a serious movement anchored in a deep vision for nation-building, celebrating President Tinubu’s groundbreaking achievements, and mobilizing grassroots Nigerians for his reelection”.
“During our 24th Democracy Day celebrations in Abuja on June 13th, we clearly articulated our vision and mission, focusing on educating Nigerians about President Tinubu’s transformative agenda. Our campaign prioritizes issues that matter profoundly to Nigerians, including security, economic revitalization, education reform, infrastructure development, and social welfare”, he added.
He also said that; “We reject the attempts to distort our message and trivialize our efforts. Our strategy involves engaging citizens directly in their communities, ensuring that the President’s achievements and vision are communicated authentically and compellingly. Under the leadership of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, we remain steadfast and undaunted by baseless attacks”.
They urged Nigerians to see through the smoke screen of misinformation and reject these spurious claims, adding that; “Our commitment to President Tinubu’s reelection is unwavering, and we will continue to focus on issue-based campaigning”

The Smear Campaign Against Door-2-Door Is Dead on Arrival!
The attention of Door-2-Door, the grassroots movement founded by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (alias Tompolo), has been drawn to a recent social media campaign to trivialise the movement’s campaign to mobilise Nigerians for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
The purveyors of this inanity have launched a smear campaign associating the Door-2-Door movement with frivolous activities such as frying and sharing plantain chips as part of our campaign strategy. We are not a part of such nonsense.
Door-2-Door is not a platform for petty distractions or shallow antics. Its foundation is anchored in a deep, far-reaching vision on nation-building and to celebrate and amplify the groundbreaking achievements of President Tinubu. This movement is about projecting a powerful narrative that showcases real progress and mobilises grassroots Nigerians to re-elect a leader whose policies have already transformed the nation.

Door-2-Door has never authorised, endorsed, or delegated anyone to associate the campaign with plantain chips or any other trivial activity. Such fabrications are deliberate attempts to mislead the public and sully the movement’s reputation. Nigerians are urged to reject these spurious claims as the handiwork of those opposed to democracy and national progress.
